Planet Nadim
Catalog > Planet Nadim

Nadim is the first habitable planet of the double star system Cyrus/Kira. The smaller star currently rises first, just moments before the larger and main star. Nadim's moon is called Kali, after their Moon Goddess.

There are nine kingdoms on Nadim, each is independent of the others with loosely formed boundaries. Much of Nadim is mountainous but there are plains and deserts.

Anisah is a small village in the central highlands of the country Larsa. It lies one full day's travel by coach to the southeast of the capital of Cala, where the Kaliph lives.

The society is much like the Aramaic and Sumerian culture of Earth ancient history. The technology has not reached motorized transport or electricity. Gypsy bands are prevalent and are the main source of news circulation, much the same as the bards in Earth's histories.

The is the home world of Malik Kamahl ab Anisah, the Doctor of Anisah, and the planet of Zara, his love.
